Youth Challenge Australia is a non-profit, non-religious, non-government organisation that actively engages Australian volunteers in grassroots development work in Indigenous Australia, Vanuatu, India, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico and Guyana. Volunteers work in collaboration with local communities and partner organisations to assist the growth of sustainable and positive development. YCA was founded on the belief that Australian youth have an interest in and a commitment to contributing to community development.
